Samsung has unveiled the third generation mobile phone in the popular Galaxy S line — the Samsung Galaxy S III.
The Galaxy S III will be powered by the latest Andriod 4.0 platform and feature a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, quad-core Exynos processor and 1GB of RAM. Samsung has also equipped the phone with a 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP camera on its front for video calling.
Another added bonus of the S III is the Smart Stay feature which enables the phone to recognise it’s user’s eye motion via the front camera so Smart Stay will know if the user is looking at the phone and will keep the display from timing out.
Europe is the first to receive the Samsung Galaxy S III where launch has been set for the end of May. The rest of the world will have to wait a tad longer.
