Lindsay Lohan and Richard Phillips have again collaborated on a short film entitled First Point which premiered in Switzerland this week. In the five-minute flick, Lohan takes on the role of a sexy surfer girl who surfs and sunbathes her days away while the paparazzi lens hovers.
Co-directed by legendary surf filmmaker Taylor Steele, the film is shot on both public and private beaches in Malibu, with music score by Thomas Bangalter — one half of French electro duo Daft Punk.
“This tackles a different part of who she is and how she projects herself. It’s not fashion photography, it’s not mainstream film.” Phillips told ABC News.
First Point premiered on June 11 as part Art Unlimited VIP Opening at Art Basel 2012 and will air to the public over the coming days.
To compete in the ’92 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, the USA assembled what is arguably the best basketball team of all time. Jordan, Bird, Johnson, Ewing, Robinson, Barkley, Pippen, Malone, Stockton, Drexler, Mullen and Laettner made up ‘The Dream Team’.
Airing on NBA TV, the documentary The Dream Team, offers an inside look into the selection process, the road leading to the Barcelona Olympics, and on-court battles between team members. The Dream Team even shares untold stories of a demoralising defeat to college students right before the Barcelona Games.
The Dream Team dominated the world and left Barcelona with gold, leading each game with an average of over 40 points. 20 years on, they are still highly regarded as the best of the best, being dubbed “The greatest team ever assembled in the history of team sports”.
The Dream Team airs on June 13.
The M574 is arguably one of the most popular New Balance shoe models. It’s so loved in fact, it’s often the first model of choice when it comes to collaborations and special editions. Not to be disappointed this time around, we’ve been tempted with the ‘Backpack’ Collection. This collection features the M574 in five different colours — black, orange, green, red, and blue.
Featuring tan suede details, the upper of the M574 is constructed from ballistic nylon, this is similar to what you’ll find on your everyday carry backpack. Each shoe also comes with its own backpack in the same colourway and matching detailing.
Look for the New Balance M574 ‘Backpack’ Collection in retail stores this August.

After its highly publicised announcement on Conan back in March, two teaser trailers have already aired and surprisingly screened ahead of Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator.
There has been no details released on the plot or word as to whether Christina Applegate will reprise her role as Veronica Corningstone, but director Adam McKay has hinted that the story will focus on two things – a custody battle and ‘bowling for dollars’!
Although shooting has not begun, we expect to see Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues in cinemas in 2013.

1987 was when the Nike Air Safari runner first hit the scene. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Nike is releasing the style again!
Original designer, Tinker Hatfield, created the trademark safari print after being inspired by an ostrich leather couch he came across in a New York furniture store. A quarter of a century later, the ’87 runner is coupled with the Nike Air Trainer 1, which will feature the same pattern and colourway in a pack dubbed the ‘Safari Pack’.
No official release date just yet but we should see them in the near future.

It’s been over a decade since a new pair of patent leather Air Jordan XI in a low cut graced our presence, but now they’re back. The Air Jordan XI Low White/Varsity Red has been thrown in the middle of some highly anticipated releases.
Featuring traditional Chicago Bulls colour highlights, this classic white shoe comes wrapped in a pure white patent leather across the mid-section and toe cap.
The Air Jordan XI is the most popular model in the Air Jordan line and, with a clean-cut colourway like this, no one is expecting them to stay on the shelves for long.
The official release date is this Saturday May 5, but they can be found online earlier.
